Papermill Schut has a long experience in producing the finest high quality papers. Among them, archival papers finds its place. Production in very clean enviroment and the selection of the strongest alpha cellulose types or cotton fibres ensures us of the highest possible quality and perfect performances with reference to strength. Our paper is pH neutral and produced in an acid free enviroment. This, togeteher with an alkaline reserve (calcium carbonate buffer) makes it that our paper will have a Long Life, which has proved to last at least 300 years. The paper is produced in accordance with the highest standards of ISO9706, DIN6738 and NEN2728.
Next to traditional archival papers in different colours and substances ranging from 75 to 450 gsm, we also manufacture Photo Archival papers. These very fine qualities come in cotton as well as cellulose, buffered or unbuffered, specially designed for preservation of Photo’s and negatives. Our papers meet with the demands for PAT (Photo Activity Test) certification.
